BellaVive Natural Health Clinic was founded with a simple philosophy: take the time to understand each person as an individual.

Dr. Kimberly Nguyen has been providing natural health and acupuncture care since 2004 and has served the Tampa community since 2007.

Our approach brings together natural medicine, Traditional Oriental Medicine, acupuncture, nutrition, herbal medicine, lifestyle counseling, and mind-body approaches to support each patient's health and well-being.

Dr. Kimberly Nguyen

A Lifelong Interest in Natural & Traditional Medicine

Dr. Kimberly Nguyen's path to a career in medicine began at an early age when she was treated for a rare illness by a nun who practiced Traditional Oriental Medicine. Inspired by Sister Mung and that early experience, Dr. Nguyen decided to pursue a career in health and medicine.

She earned her bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Pre-Medicine from Louisiana State University and later completed graduate education in health administration. She went on to earn her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from Sonoran University of Health Sciences (formerly Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine).

Her interest in combining natural and Traditional Oriental Medicine led her to further her education at the Florida College of Integrative Medicine, where she earned a Master's degree in Oriental Medicine.

Today, Dr. Nguyen draws on her extensive education and experience in natural medicine, acupuncture, and Traditional Oriental Medicine to provide thoughtful, individualized care.

A Personalized Approach to Care

Dr. Nguyen believes that good care begins with listening.  Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, she takes time to understand each patient's health history, concerns, lifestyle, and goals. Depending on the individual's needs, care may incorporate natural medicine, acupuncture, nutrition, herbal medicine, lifestyle counseling, and mind-body approaches.

Patient education is also an important part of her approach. Dr. Nguyen encourages patients to understand their options, ask questions, and take an active role in decisions about their health.

Professional Information: Florida does not currently license naturopathic physicians. Dr. Kimberly Nguyen is a licensed naturopathic doctor in Vermont and practices in Florida as a Natural Health Consultant and Florida Licensed Acupuncture Physician.

Hung Dang - Office Manager

Hung Dang has been an integral part of BellaVive Natural Health Clinic since its inception and is often the first point of contact for patients.

As office manager, Hung helps coordinate scheduling, patient communication, and the clinic's day-to-day administrative operations. He also oversees BellaVive's website and technology systems, helping keep the practice running smoothly behind the scenes.
