Dr. Kimberly Nguyen

Dr Kimberly Nguyen's path to her career in medicine started at an early age when she was treated for a rare illness by an extraordinary nun who specialized in oriental medicine.  Inspired by Sister Mung, Dr. Nguyen decided to study medicine.  After obtaining her Bachelors degree in Nutrition and Pre-medicine from Louisiana State University and her Masters in Health Administration from the University of Lafayette, Kimberly Nguyen earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe, Arizona.  At SCNM, she developed her passion for not only natural medicine but also oriental medicine.  She furthered her education and knowledge by also obtaining her Masters in Oriental Medicine from Florida College of Integrative Medicine in Orlando, FL. 

In her work experience, Dr. Nguyen has treated patients with a variety of health issues such as stress, depression, pain, gastrointestinal disorders, skin disorders such as vitiligo, autoimmune disease like scleroderma, and infertility.  She has also help support patients undergoing traditional cancer therapies and patients with long term unresolved health conditions.  Her philosophy is to provide specialized care for each patient's physical, mental, emotional, and environmental well-being.

Dr. Nguyen believes in educating her patients to help them make sensible choices to live a healthy life.  Empowering her patients with knowledge enables them to make educated decisions, so they can begin to take charge of their health.  She specializes in oriental medicine and since Florida does not license Naturopathic Physicians, she provides natural health consultations at BellaVive Natural Health Clinic.  (Florida has not licensed new Naturopathic Physicians since 1959).
